"Our first time at the Valentin and it did not disappoint. We had a swim up suite and the room was amazing. Huge bathroom and shower. The bar staff at the pool were all great and very attentive. "The staff was wonderful but the resort itself was poorly run. The resort is advertised as a vip resort. We didn’t receive anything for being vip platinum Expedia members. In fact the reception desk acted like they have never even heard of Expedia vip. I had to show them on my phone. The kids were only allowed to eat in one restaurant. There was a $10 charge for room service even through their website states $5. The air conditioning hardly worked. I called about it the first night and waited 2hrs...
