"Paint chipping off the walls in room, sheets on bed were dirty, bathroom smelled like a sewer, carpets were stained, over all the view was great but the hotel wasn't worth the money."

"We made a reservation a month before our arrival for a Thursday and a Friday night. Our train plans changed and decided to give Friday night back. We were informed that it was a $500.00 penalty. So we had to keep the unused room, and eat the cost. The room was lovely but needed extra plugins for styling tools and needed to be cooler due to the heatwave but very quiet."

"Lovely stay just outside of the city center. Spacious room and the couch was oh so comfy. Great reception upon arrival and was able to keep bags at the guesthouse while we walked about town since we had a later flight. "

"Excellent location by Hollyrood Palace. Well equipped kitchen. Larger bathroom than most of our lodgings. Although space was limited for 3 people, it worked. Two of us used a large bathtub in a room adjacent to the bathroom to organize luggage. Excellent king bed."

"We stayed in the deluxe 2 bedroom unit and it was very spacious and clean. The beds were comfy and the bedrooms had black out curtains. I sent a message in advance asking for the beds in one of the rooms to be separated and they were each made with their own duvet and bedding, which we really appreciated (they were separated a couple of inches which was sufficient for us). "Gorgeous place in the middle of beautiful Edinburgh! Once you figure out the entry code, it’s absolutely perfect!"

"Stayed four nights. The first night we were in the room turned tv on for a bit the off and went out, came back and tv wouldn’t come on, called desk and guy came up and said cord was too short and came unplugged. At 06:50am the fire alarm in the room started shrieking for 3-4 minutes and the message came later saying false alarm. Same morning the sink stopper in bathroom didn’t work, couldn’t fill sink, got it fixed 2 days later. Bathtub/ shower was not good, turn the shower on and within...

"Very well located, spacious and well kept. Unfortunately they put us in a room right at the entrance of their second building in our first night. Our bed was right in front of the main door, so anyone could see us and we could hear every one that was coming in + the cleaning team at 6am next morning. Also the air conditioning was not working. Next day they moved us to a far better room that I believe should better reflect their standards. Make sure you don’t get that 1st family room!"

"Staff were friendly and very helpful. Room was extremely quiet despite being near a large mall. The kitchenette was useful, especially for breakfast. Heated bathroom floor was a nice touch. Location was perfect-close to tourist sites and train station but a short distance away from the busier areas. Room 719 had a nice view."
