"Surprised that many sites label this hotel as a 2 star. This hotel is locally owned, not a chain. It looks older on the outside but has been updated to look very nice on the inside. Couldn't ask for a better view of the bay, beach, sunsets, etc. The restaurant is very good! Lots of locals eat there and they have all kinds of food! The ambiance in the restaurant is quaint and doesn't look like hotel restaurant al all! Rooms have fridge, microwave, & coffee maker. Not within walking distance to the downtown area. Staff was wonderful. A real family owned type of atmosphere. We had many problems with our internet/Wifi. I mentioned it at the front desk when I checked out and received a very comparable refund. No questions asked. Beach was graded each day and lots of beach chairs available. I will be back!"
