Nice area and good size rooms. However everything was very outdated from the 70/80's. Tub/Jacuzzi was unuseable. Online photos make the property look nicer than what it is in person. Place has real potential and you can tell it was once a gem, but upgrades really need to happen.

I loved everything about it, outdoor pool, indoor pool, big property, a mini downtown with 2 restaurants and 2 bars within walking distance. The breakfast buffet was great too!

Very clean hotel

I almost didn't stay at this hotel because some reviews said it was dirty. The hotel was spotless! We ate in the restaurant, it was good, the bartender John was great. Our balcony had a gorgeous view. We would definitely stay here again.

It was okay and no more than okay.

The views are beautiful, the room was clean. However, the hotel needs to be updated, the halls were musty. Getting to our room was confusing, we had to go up and down several sets of stairs to get there. No elevator to get to rooms. They must be short staffed as they offered no cleaning service during our stay, the trash was overflowing, but they still had an envelope asking for a tip. The coffee shop employees are just rude. It was just ok and we wouldn't visit again. Overpriced for the experience.

I enjoyed my mini weekend getaway, 3 nights. I booked thru expedia and daily maid service was included, however upon arriving no cleaning service. This was my only mini getaway and such a hassle of calling to get trash removed, change of towels, not having wipes to clean bathroom. However i loved the resort, the indoor pool was great since we had rain, restaurants were good, a little pricey. Breakfast was average to hotel breakfast, they did have omelet station, but they took a long time. I ate there only once . Would I return, yes. However, checking about full service. I traveled with my family of 4. Rooms were a good size, comfy, fridge, microwave . 18 min drive to Torch lake.
