"Architecturally the hotel is very pleasing to the eye with the limestone exterior and modern entrance. The hotel is in very good condition and smells lovely. All of the facilities were excellent and clean. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Special thanks to Valentin, Enzo, Pierre and Barbara. The rooms and bathroom were very stylish and clean. The hotel was busy but there was minimal noise in the rooms even at the weekend. Food in the restaurant was good but I wouldn’t really bother...

"The home is gorgeous and literally in the center of town. Easy to walk everywhere. Caroline arranged for a taxi to pick us up at the train station and we were met by Lucy who was wonderful. She sat us down with a map of the town. She circled and labeled things she felt we shouldn’t miss as well as places I told her we had things booked for. Dinner reservations were made for us and the recriminations were great. We opted not to have a full breakfast each morning but did have croissants and coffee...

"This is an exquisite hotel. Beautifully furnished in it's lounges, grounds and rooms. The service is impeccable. The proximity to Lynch Badges Winery helps for an insightful visit. The team plan and secure other visits to the amazing vineyards at Pauillac. Breakfast is good and the food and wine at the associate Cafe Lavinal is good and well priced. A very special hotel."
