"Clean room, cozy room, great amenities, good location downtown but not in the middle of it all. 10 min drive to the airport and there is a bus that picks up right next to the hotel that can take you to the mall and restaurants very easily. Definitely a great place to stay for solo travelers."

"The walk to SAP Center was great, less than 8 minutes. No airport shuttle, but the bus from the airport into downtown San Jose is free from the airport which was nice. Lots of food choices in the area. The breakfast options in the hotel are expensive compared to other places I have stayed. Lyft was fairly reasonable and the drivers were great. The staff at the SAP were great, really good customer service."

"This hotel is old but well kept. I would say it’s historic. Close to many restaurants, clubs and across from the civic center. My check in process was very nice and the staff very helpful. I would definitely stay here again."

"The owner is super nice and you notice a big difference between staying at a corporate owned hotel.The property is lined with lemon and orange trees and beautiful flowers which he takes very well care of. Everything is very clean and I appreciated having a refrigerator and a microwave in the room! Nice also to park right in front of your room."

"I didn't like the A/C heater that my husband had to turn on bec he felt cold. Everytime it was on made a very loud noise that my husband could not sleep. About 3 am he phoned the front desk and told him to listen at the noise and said something more which I didn't hear. Eventually I had to turned off A/C and I gave him my sheet to cover him. My husband is a light sleeper."

"Having to pay for parking ( $20 for a one night stay) was never disclosed anywhere on their website or during booking. You arrive and realize the only parking option will be their parking lot and you will have to pay. Also the $100 credit hold at check in was not disclosed when I checked in at all. The seemed more concerned about charging extra for parking than informing me of the hold placed on my card. The room was decent. Small, but for the price and location it was ok. They can do better...
