"Excellent location as we were watching a show at the O2 arena. A piece of history in the middle of high rise buildings. It’s been lovingly restored and maintained with quirky design elements to it. They had great breakfast choices and had a relaxed atmosphere. I love these kinds of places. Just the relaxing weekend my husband needed."

"Lovely hotel in a green quiet location, the room was clean, the bed was comfortable, this is an older hotel and had no AC in the room, some nights it got hot. The breakfast and staff were excellent. Overall had a great stay. Good value for money."

"The property for us was very clean, well diverse, and had friendly and helpful staff. The location couldn't have been better suited with public transportation around London within a few minutes. All necessary stores was within walking distance, including restaurants, supermarkets and even a huge shopping mall. There is also lots of Caribbean (West Indian) heritage in the area and the hotel honored that with some rooms named after some Islands."

My room was large with a huge window seat where I could relax, get work done or just read a book while enjoying the view. There was no broom for cleaning, and everything had too many instructions about not moving or touching things.""

"Great location. Close to the park, museums and dining. Short walk from the train station. Got free early checkin and so didn’t need to do luggage storage. First time at an ibis. Small room and very tight bathroom with no exhaust. Biggest overall negative which dragged down our score was no AC and really hot days which meant the room was very stuffy and warm, tough to sleep."

Checking was 45 mins long in the afternoon, as the online checking via form took a l long time, requiring everyone's details in my party! Why was that needed? "Rooms do not have AC instead you are given a fan , which isn't sufficient when it's 31 degrees outside. Water pressure was low in our room so we could not shower until after 2pm despite reporting the issue at 10am. The room we were given was on the ground floor and did not have an outdoor area therefore we were unable to use this to dry our clothes outside in the warm weather.
