"Clean room"

"Location was great, right across the street from the beach and short walking distance to restaurants and bars. The rooms were small and the pool was at the sister hotel next door. Breakfast was also at the hotel next door and not a lot of food options."

"Great location. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was good but late start at 7:30. Pool was available but we didn’t get to use it. A resort fee was charged at the hotel. Clean."

"Fitted sheet was linty and pillowcases stained had to ask for extra duvet to sleep on. Room was noisy with rattling sound coming from hvac unit. Bed was wobbly. Outlets were loose so the slightest movement disconnected the wire I asked for a manager to reach out and haven’t gotten a response. Front desk was unattended a few times when I tried to ask for help. A little disappointed because I was looking forward to a pleasant stay or some sort of resolution "

"It’s a cool hotel right in south beach. Beach is across the street. South beach is a bit chaotic itself but the hotel is decent apart from tiny bathrooms."

"Tv did not work, maintenance came in and try to fix the tv and left without letting us know what was wrong. I ask for more pillows and blanket, they said they don't have any, no refrigerator, Check in time was at 4pm, took them over 1 hour for my room to be ready. We did valet parking, when we ask for our vehicle, took them almost 1 hour to get our car, it was 6 blocks away. They did not help with luggage. The valet guy speaks no English at all, he just stood there and watched 5 women put luggage in the back of the trunk. I checked out early. Not worth the price!! Horrible service."

"The Balfour Hotel was exceptional and I like smaller hotels so this was better than I expected. The room was clean and the staff was nice. The beach is not too far from the hotel and it’s in a great location close to restaurants and shopping. Highly recommend and will gladly return."
