"Enjoyed our stay,accommodation needs maintenance..Room was clean and staff were helpful.Very disappointed In regards to Expedia to whom we booked with as we charged a lot more than if we had gone direct with Rydges..So we won’t be recommending Expedia in the future.."
"Unique architecture. Harbor view room was awesome. Mini bar included an adapter for US charging devices (very helpful). Staff was super friendly and accommodating. Only complaint was that the hotel bar was closed on a Sunday night. Don’t know if it’s closed every Sunday night or not (no reason given for why it was closed) but hard to believe a five star hotel would not have its bar open seven days a week. (Not saying it needs to be 24/7. It just would have been nice to have gotten a nightcap...
"Lovely old home converted into a home away from home. Don't expect all the latest mod-cons but the basics are there. Large rooms, nice bathrooms and a well stocked shared kitchen. Aachen House would be wonderful for larger groups or families looking to stay together. Surprisingly quiet for a large home with lots of comings and goings, we look forward to visiting again at some point in the future!!"
