"At the very end of its IHG corporate refit, the Monaco’s interior is now stripped of all vestiges of independent quirkiness in favor of muted chic and some oddly flimsy fittings (take care when using the soap dispenser in the shower - the caddy is less than solid). But the staff are still terrific: welcoming, attentive and warm: and the no-fuss dog policy is unchanged. We had drinks and nibbles in the lobby and they were top tier, served with good cheer (and water for our hound) The restaurant...
