We booked a car service to pick us up at the airport through the hotel two weeks before our arrival. We received confirmation, but pickup left us stranded in the rain for over an hour. Finally, we called the hotel and they had us call the car service and inquire about their whereabouts. Finally arriving soaking wet. As compensation, we received two bottles of water and a chocolate bar. We called corporate and they agreed we should mot have paid for the pickup. Stating they would get back to us before we checked out.After not hearing back, we recalled and were transferred a few times. The final response was that the water and chocolate was all the compensation we would be receiving.
This is definitely not the response we expected from the Hilton hotel chain.
