"Wouldn’t come back. The pictures look great but reality just wasn’t the expectation set. The room sat at 25/26 degrees at night, with no aircon available. Even after asking, the aircon is centrally controlled and isn’t turned on this time of year. We were told to open the balcony windows but this just meant people in neighbouring rooms could walk in at anytime, which doesn’t feel great when you’re sleeping.
Additionally all the pools & jacuzzi’s close at 6 so no good if you want to do anything in the evening. The room we were in came with its own plunge pool but it was unusable being so cold, neither us or anyone in rooms next to us used there’s more for the week we were there.
The hotel also says it has parking for 10 euro a day, each day we asked this was not available. The hotel is situated at the top of a large hill, this left us parking most days at the bottom of the hill and walking up.
Overall the hotel is no where near the expectation you may have. Take the amenities with a pinch of salt. And don’t think you’ll get a good night sleep with the lack of controllable air con. "
"The staff was polite and helpful, the view from the room was outstanding, the food was good. The only issue was the noise made by the chairs in the dining room from the 14th floor but if you wake up before breakfast and go to bed after dinner, it is not an issue."
"We had a nice room with gorgeous ocean view. The hotel has very spacious common areas. Free parking was not hard to find. It has easy access to the highway, in case you are planning driving to many of the surrounding viewpoints. This hotel would be particularly convenient for visiting Loro park. Staff was polite and very helpful."
"This hotel is definitely not 4* as it claims. I found the people at the reception to be unhelpful and sometimes down right rude. When I got the hotel I discovered to my horror that they are renovating on the floor above me with noise of banging and drilling going on for most of the day, the worse thing was that when I booked the hotel on Expedia nowhere did it say that there are any renovations in progress during my stay. The room itself was nice comfortable and clean but the hotel itself was boring, there was some silly entertainment at night and I found the food to be unimaginative, and repetitive.
The saving grace to this trip was the glorious weather and beautiful Tenerife. And I would definitely visit Tenerife again.
This hotel might be some people's Cup of tea, mine it was absolutely not and would not stay there again even if was free!! "
"Room had no windows to the outside just internal windows viewing the corridor and into an air duct which could be noisy.
I did request information from the hotel regarding this when it was brought to my attention however they never answered my query.
Beautiful views couldn't be enjoyed.
The staff I came into contact with were all very nice."
"Everything was good, except the view.
The bedroom was tidy and clean, we had to ask for additional pillows, but otherwise was ok.
Sadly they do not supply the safe free, you have to rent the “lock” on a daily charge of €3 with a €20 deposit, refundable when you return it on check-out.
As we like a cuppa first thing in the morning, we had to hire a kettle from the hotel as none was supplied in the room, this came with a deposit of €15 also refundable on check-out.
We received 2 cups and saucers, but no tea or coffee was supplied with the kettle, so we had to do a visit to the ‘Hyper Dino’ for tea bags when we went out.
We booked this hotel for its location in the town and would have preferred a room at the front as you would have a better view, the rest of the hotel faces high rise blocks of buildings and flats.
There is a tiny view of the sea if you can see through the gaps.
"
"The hotel, located in an excellent position, seems very charming with the lovely palm court feeling at the entrance! But that’s where the charm ends…the rooms are shabby and very dated (which could be acceptable) but the facilities are quite disgusting! Poor quality, threadbare linen and towels. Lumpy pillows. No tea or coffee-making facilities. A safe that you can only use by paying a daily fee!! No drinking water supplied. A wafer-thin piece of soap is supplied (FOC!) but there is no shampoo or conditioner. Very cheap see-through toilet paper and a bidet which did not work. All of this together with a lovely drain smell!
Unfortunately, the present, 3rd or 4th generation family owners are totally oblivious to spending any money on customer comforts!
All-in-all not a hotel that we would recommend anyone else to experience!
