"We visited Les Gets for the first time and our stay at the Chalet-Hôtel La Marmotte could not have been better. We were warmly greeted by reception, had the most amazing room and so impressed with the cosy lounge. The breakfast was delicious, the location perfect as directly by the slopes and lifts (if skiing). The most relaxing luxurious stay in a quality hotel. "What a wonderful hotel, facilities, and team. It's so wonderful to see an independent hotel full! The breakfast spread is great and vast. We opted for dinner every night available and the 3 courses plus cheese was delicious, fresh, varied and didn't need to be rolled to our rooms but felt full. The pool, jacuzzi, sauna, and salt room were wonderful to use daily to unwind after the slopes and before dinner. The location is quiet and just over the bridge from Super Morzine gondola."

"Which was this hotel because of it’s close to the train station as well as the ski tram, which is a short walk. I was doing a ski trip so I made the logistics a lot easier. Didn’t realize that this hotel was in the sports center, which itself is quite impressive with a hockey rink three pools, curling rink, gymnasium, full gym and the bistro. "We had a fantastic stay for our family ski holiday. We've stayed in other places in Avoriaz in the past and the location of L'Amara is just spot on for children. Our appointment was directly above the ski locker which was straight out onto the run. We used the pool area a couple of times and although it was quite busy, it never felt crowded. The parking was convenient and easy to access the appartment from it. The appartment itself was actually surprisingly roomy for an avoriaz appartment....
