Thys place is right at the marina, walking distance to Sea port Village, walking distance to really everything! The amenities are amazing!! This is my new hotel every time I go to San Diego!! Go see Johnny at the bar and ask for the Johnnie Juice shot!!!"

"Hotel is right by train tracks and it had such unsettling feeling was not able to sleep all night, picture those scary motels in movies/shows that was this place. Looked and smelled old. Had faulty light censors that cause them to turn on at all hours of the night. "

"Where do I begin?!? Such a beautiful hotel. Location was perfect. The staff (valet, receptionists, waitstaff at the adjoining Salt & Whiskey bar / restaurant) were friendly, welcoming, engaging, exemplary! BTW the drinks and food at Salt & Whiskey were excellent! Such lovely hotel decor. Comfortable, clean rooms. Nice amenities. I cannot fathom staying anywhere else on my next visit to downtown San Diego. The Horton Grand Hotel excels in the hospitality industry, hands down!"
