"One word describes this property best: Simple. If all you want is to be you, relax and be a beach bum, stay in your swim trunks all day without having to worry who will see you this is the place for you. There is no “fake” high end society here showing off and dressing up. Particularly friendly for families and most importantly… true simple family time. Weather want to stay at a cabana by the pool all day or under umbrella and lounge chairs on the beach, all is accessible within seconds. The rooms have this simple and spartan feeling, all you need to relax and stay off the sun if you need to, or get ready for a great night out. Deerfield Beach, Pompano, Boca and Ft Lauderdale are all within minutes with a car or ride. Plenty of UBER around. Valet is open 24 hours a day. We spent so much face time with our kids, this was so therapeutic. And don’t be afraid to leave that amazing ocean salt on your skin overnight. Your body will thank you later."

"The hotel is in an ideal location in the centre of the main shopping. It also has its own water taxi stop too (which is helpful because it’s quite a walk to the beach area). Rooms are lovely and the hotel is spread across a number of buildings that house a bar restaurant and the pool area and fitness Center. Because it’s an old building, the lifts are small and just about get two people plus cases inside. And be aware no one helps with your cases at all, which is unusual in the US. We hauled our cases from the taxi to reception. Were efficiently checked in and then given our keys and told where our rooms were located. No offer of concierge. But that is a minor point really; we enjoyed our time in Fort Lauderdale and would go back to this hotel. Recommended."
