"Arrived in Puerto Rico and was headed to location for my stay when they let me know due to a leak it’s no longer available. They did issue a full refund but was near impossible to get ahold of anyone on the phone. Was waiting on side of road to figure out what to do and not giving someone a phone call about the change is not acceptable. This is the only time something has happened to me in a overseas experience and will not be doing this way again and will just find a suitable Marriott in range and go with that."

"Just meh. There were way more things wrong than right with this hotel. Almost all the staff were rude with customer service absolutely not a priority, inuding the male server at breakfast who was visibly angry because people arrived. I saw several people give up and leave rather than continue to wait for an hour for food or attention from waitstaff. I specifically asked if there were any umbrellas for the pool area because there was only 1 being used by someone else. Although I was promised by 2 different people, including the front desk lady, that someone would come check and let me know, no one showed up and no one told me anything. So we were left to fry in the sun. One day, the cleaners left our room unlocked after cleaning. Who knows how many people went in while we were away. We won't be staying here again."

"It’s an older building with a modern twist. It’s in a great central location in the heart of Viejo San Juan. It was a relief to have the luxury of walking around the town and being able to take a break from the heat at this hotel. The rooms were clean, the staff were very friendly and the air conditioning was paramount. I’d definitely stay here again and I highly recommend it."
