"Overall stay was great. Location is excellent in historic area, but do not wander away outside of it. Overnight staff (female) wanted to charge for the trademark chocolate chip cookie Double Tree hotels are known for. She stated they are complimentary on your first night only. Could not find policy stating so. Historically every double tree I’ve stayed at over the years always offered them with a smile. It was strange to offer them for payment. "

"Great location, near everything at walking distance. Friendly and knowledgeable staff, in a beautiful historical building. "

"The shower and sink water had an bad odor to it. We were with out hot water for a few hours and then when the hot water came back it was coming out dirty. The main elevator broke during our stay and didn’t get repaired. The phone in our room didn’t work either. Other than the the views from the roof top pool were beautiful and the staff was very nice and tried to help the best they could. "

"Worst place to stay in the world I was there for two hours and I decided to rent another hotel. The room was dirty the area around was terrible I don't know how Expedia offers this kind of dangerous hotel not recommended for families it was scary and people staying here looks like they live here and they were so loud and there were fights inside and outside the hotel"
