Nice clean updated hotel with great staff. Located in the center of town, so its very walkable to restaurants and many historical places downtown Guadalajara. It was my first time staying here but I am sure I will return.

They’re doing some remodeling at the moment. So the actual lobby looks totally different from the pictures but the rooms specially on the 6th floor looks upgraded. The location is superb!!! Just 5 min walk to the cathedral and the plaza. Plenty of restaurants nearby. The area is pretty safe too. I would recommend this hotel for those who are not very picky.

Clean environment, place has been renewed with super comfortable beds and clean modern decor. Quiet even though is in the heart of centro histórico, right on the main hove of Calle Juárez-don’t let the deterioration of this yesteryear beauty fool you; is worth staying here at Gran Genova;-we would definitely stay here again.

Excellent staff and rooms were very clean and very centralized to the center of the city. The most important thing about staying at Hotel Plaza Genova was the water issues that are currently going on in Guadalajara. Hotel Plaza Genova did not have that problem as we had in the other Hotel we stayed our first night in Guadalajara. Even though they are currently going through renovation the Hotel was very clean and welcoming. We have another trip planned for February and we will most definitely book to stay there again.

The one night stay was wonderful! Highly recommended. Clean and safe and so helpful even when I made the reservation for the wrong day. The location is close to the market and the mega jewelry center. We were able to take a bus the next day back to Aguascalientes.

The lobby to our room and everything in between was clean. All the staff was friendly and always willing to help. Would cup games are available to watch in their restaurant located in the lobby. It's located in a great place that is walking distance to make good restaurants, San Juan de Dios, Cathedral of Guadalajara and many more things. I would stay here again.

The AC never cool down enough, I report the problem, it never got solved. The TV reception was awful, the signal was lost every few minutes, we didn't spend much time in the room but at night while we get ready to sleep the TV reception and AC temperature matters. The room was cleaned every day really good. This is a quiet clean place.

The lobby was old and needs some updating! The hallways and rooms are very modern and the beds were comfortable! Location is great if you need to be in the historic part of town I was there for the world Cup fan fast was close by and very convenient for me! But the stadium and the airport were considerably farther away and not easy to access!
