"Literally nothing worked. Plumbing was awful. They also charge like 15$ for the shuttle which should be included. Restaurant and pool is very far."

"We were issued one key card for 4 travelers, then the room required that a key card be inserted into a slot in order to keep the room powered on. The result was that we came back from dinner to a hot and humid room that tooks hours to cool back down. Great stay otherwise, but that one factor was enough to make it a fairly miserable evening. Hope the savings to BW+ was worth it."

"As a solo female traveller, I was scared to enter the hotel since the lights in the entrance are off, and will only turn on once you actually enter. The front desk is located on the floor above, so there is no one there. The room was poorly laid out, with barely any space to rest personal belongings. The curtains were filthy and stained, and there were flies all over the room. I checked out a night early because I felt uncomfortable staying any longer. Definitely was not a 4-star hotel...

They kindly upgraded my daughter and me to a junior suite, which was spacious, beautifully designed, and made our vacation feel truly special. A major highlight was the complimentary excursion they offered us to Murano to watch the master glass blowers at work—it was fascinating and seamlessly arranged. "The hotel and the property were gorgeous. It was a beautiful respite from the crowds of Venice. Concierge was very helpful. Unfortunately, the air conditioner in the room didn’t work during our hot, two night stay. The lights flickered on and off frequently. The maintenance staff tried to fix the air conditioner after the first night with no success. The thermostat beeped incessantly all night after the attempted repair."

"The AC in the room is a passive system where they run chilled water through the walls. The room was very warm according to American standards and the first night was uncomfortable to sleep. By the second day the temperature had cooled down. I understand that many hotels in Venice and the surrounding island don’t have Ac at all. Overall we enjoyed our stay in Murano. The Hotel overall was very nice."
