"The location isn’t spot on very walkable from the Santa Lucia train station. Other sites like San Marco square, and the Realto bridge are about a good 20 minute walk. The walk was very good through the canals and narrow streets so it’s very good experience. There were thunderstorms for a few hours both days but lasted only for 4-5 hours in the morning, the sun quickly dried out the whole town. "Was perfectly located. Only issue which I think is common in Venice is no elevator. "

"The people on the reception were very friendly and competent. Prices at the bar were totaly ok. Our apartment in the castle was big and comfortable. Animations for the kids were every evening and the Animators did a good job. On saturday evening there was a band, who played Songs od the 80's. It was cool! All in all a well-organized host."

"Brilliant location, spacious apartment. Secure, safe, accessible (as far as Venice goes). Would stay again. Rooms were great, bathroom and kitchenette/dining area excellent. Only annoying thing was the incessant WhatsApp messages trying to sell tours and trips before our arrival. A couple of the reviews mention parking. There is no parking - it’s Venice!
