"The property is extremely well located near the start of the old town and was walkable to everywhere. Our room was small but very lovely and when we stuck our heads out of the window, we had an amazing view of the old town! The only problem was parking - we couldnt find any bc of a festival - but thats not the hotels fauot! Just be a bit organsjed - and i recommend parking behind the bus terminal (Eu10 per day)."

Agriturismo Barbi

"The best feature of Agriturismo Barbi is its location. Nestled between the towns of Monticchiello and Pienza, it offers some of the best views and sunsets in the entire Val d'Orcia area. Located 20 minutes from the winemaking town of Montepulciano and 25 minutes from San Quirico, you are within a short drive of the larger towns, yet it affords the peace and quiet to enjoy the evenings. Although it is an active working farm, its owner, Vilmo, is very attentive and available. The grounds are uncluttered and very well kept. The apartment I stayed in within the main house was exceptionally clean and well-equipped to make your stay comfortable and pleasant. I must emphasize the beauty of this location. You can watch the sunset while sipping wine out in the field overlooking olive groves, from the balconies, or from the main house. The pictures shown in the reviews don't do this place justice. You must go to Agriturismo Barbi and see for yourself the magic of this place. I will certainly come back to Tuscany and will definitely be staying at Agriturismo Barbi."

"An Incredible Terrace with the Most Amazing Views! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The hotel is beautifully restored and in a fantastic location in Pienza, just off Piazza Pio II. Our room was spotlessly clean, comfortable, with good bedding and a lovely large bathroom. The room itself was simple but very comfortable and had everything we needed. However, the absolute highlight of this hotel is the terrace. The views across the Val d’Orcia are quite simply out of this world! You could sit there for hours just taking it all in. We honestly think it must be the best spot in the whole of Pienza to enjoy those incredible Tuscan views. The staff were attentive and welcoming, and breakfast was also good. We would highly recommend staying here, especially for the terrace. If you want to experience the beauty of Tuscany from a truly breathtaking viewpoint, this is the place to stay!"

"We were so comfortable and impressed with L'Olmo. Communication prior to our trip was perfect. We got there and the grounds were immaculate, the room was stunning, and the location was extremely convenient. The staff was very helpful. We loved staying here and can recommend it whole heartedly."

"We stayed at the olive Farmhouse across the street from the main property. Rooms were cozy and clean with some interesting toiletries to use (made from olive oil). The property also has a range of activities (extra) to choose from. Just a note that eventhough the farmhouse is close to the main property, you have to walk uphill to get to the property for breakfast or the pool. Also it is close to Pienza but on the north side (personally I think the south side is more picturesque). But overall, a good stay and property! Staff was very professional, friendly and always courteous"
