"Slightly odd stay. The hotel is down a little lane. I didn't realise that there was a charge for parking until I arrived. You need to ring a bell to get in to the hotel and then you get let it. As I arrived there were some people who thought they had a room booked but the person working there could not find it. I was then checked in and taken to my room. "The bed was very uncomfortable!!! It dipped in the middle so it was quite difficult to lie flat. The balcony only had one seat on it but, as we couldn’t get the door open anyway, that wasn’t a problem. I didn’t take a shower cap with me as I expected the hotel to provide a selection of toiletries. It didn’t. "Rooms were spacious and lovely and nice outdoor area. Breakfast was nice and I got to sit in (lovely) separate dining area, as I had my Goldendoodle with me, which I was happy with, as it meant I could chill as he had lots of space to lie down. My only negative was we had to pay for parking at £13 (for 24 hrs I think). It was just an expense I hadn't expected. Other than that, everything was great. Would definitely go back if in that area again."
