Great family city break

Chester is a fantastic city to visit especially with the children. Lots to see and do. We dod a family trail and learnt do much. The hotel was a great base, just across the road is a park and ride bus service that took you straight to the centre snd easy to pick up back to the hotel. Great to have the pool and restaurant service too the breakfast certainly filled us up for our days out.

If you’re staying out of central Chester, this is a great place. Usual reliable Holiday Inn accommodation and fare. This one has a swimming pool. Great for summer.

Good hotel let down by poor external appearance ( poor maintenance) and slow service in the restaurant. Clean and pleasant room . Modern bathroom comfy bed . Coffee was not good at breakfast . Reasonable tariff. I would stay again however

The property is located on the edge of Chester which means excursions are easy without having to negotiate city traffic and Chester itself is a short bus ride away, with a bus stop right outside the hotel. The staff are very helpful and the food is excellent.
