"Our room was in the basement which we did not realize until we arrived. The room itself felt a bit dingy with a hodgepodge of furnishings. The air-conditioning was loud and rattling so much so that we had to turn it off in order to sleep. Fortunately, the heat wasn’t too bad so we were able to deal with it. "I was absolutely terrified with the reviews this place had and ima keep it honest. ITS NOT EVEN THAT BAD. Room was cold which is good the heat is wild out there. Bed was comfortable, my tv worked at least and the room was spacious and gave me all I needed. As for the last 2 days there was a leak but it didn’t really affect anything for me I just put the garbage under it to drip. Bri and Mariah were awesome absolutely lovely. Is it a 5 star hotel? "The reason it’s priced low is because of the condition of the hotel. The staff were very nice, WiFi was spotty but that’s in most hotels and if your in NOLA you are not in the hotel much anyways besides to sleep so this provided exactly that. I traveled solo and had no issues. Do not stay here if you are expecting luxury."

"Very clean accomodations. The friendly, courteous staff was kind enough to store our baggage after our early arrival and saw us off at 4:30 am when we departed for the airport to catch our early morning flight. Great location -- one block from Bourbon Street and two blocks from French Market and St. Louis Cathedral. Wonderful coffee shop located across the street. Air conditioning was very welcoming after full days of sightseeing. Highly recommend!"

"I am not really sure why the reviews here so poorly match the state of the hotel. It’s run down and a more than a bit grubby. The staff are lovely and helpful and do their best to take care of you but it doesn’t really make up for the fact that the hotel needs some serious upkeep. "

"Never saw the pool, the bathroom was so small you could bearly open the door. The bathtub needed to be recaulked. Had mold around the tub. The rooms were very old and looked different than the pictures online. The bar wasn’t open when we needed a drink before 3pm. Just wasn’t impressed at all for the price."
