"We loved our stay at the George. Jos and Lindsay are lovely and run a very nice business. We had two rooms, wife and I and Daughter and Partner. We arrived soaking wet after a walk on Mam Tor. Checked in, had a laugh with the owners, parking was easy, rooms are excellent and clean, food good, beers good. Being born and raised in Derbyshire and an out doors person who spent years in the peaks before heading to that ‘great land down under’, I had somehow missed Hayfield. Lovely village and we...

"Trevlig personal och ett väldigt fräscht hotell! Nedervåningen är pub med öppet sent men det hördes inte in till rummet. Relativt bekväma sängar och bra möjlighet att ställa in temperatur på rummet. Parkeringsmöjligheter finns i närheten. "

"What a fabulous place to stay. Superb location, extremely polite staff. We both enjoyed a lovely evening meal together and the breakfast was the best in along time which is local sourced. The room was fantastic with a view to remember- rolling countryside. Highly recommended and will come stay again "

"Dog friendly. Rooms are spacious and clean. Free on site parking is very convenient. Easy walking distance to Fox Valley and all its amenities. On occasions, at weekends, rooms at the front of the hotel, you can hear people leaving the pub at the end of the night. Although the noise doesn’t go on for long. It has never put us off staying. "
