"Great spot to stay a night or two. The front foyer is not fancy but the Receptionist are very helpful both in the morning and night shift. Close walking distance to the beach, Crown St restaurants, walking paths to the light house and it's across the NRL football field. We had North facing room and you can see the sea across the football field. Has a lap pool and basic gym. Would consider staying here again."

"The Coniston Hotel is good value for what it provides and is close to Wollongong. Room was clean; bed comfy. Just be aware they are currently undergoing renovation to the downstairs pub during the week so you may experience noise after 7am. We would stay again. "

It is on a main road so the surrounds are particularly picturesque but it was quiet and had plenty of street parking. Tucked in behind Princes Hwy (not motorway so noise was not a problem). Check in was very straightforward and parking outside unit provided. Thanks to owners for a comfortable stay."
