"The lobby looks nothing like the photo on the hotel profile. It is small and dingy. The front desk clerks sit in glass box-for security reasons. The condition of the property is rundown with attempts to cover it with some loud patterns on hallway walls and floors. "The hotel was in a great location with the subway and ferry services a short walk away. It is in a good location for exploring attractions like the 9/11 Museum and the Statue of Liberty. Friendly staff on check in. The room was a good size, comfortable, clean and had a good bathroom. The room also had a fridge, perfect for keeping drinks and food cool in the heat of downtown Manhattan. Overall a wonderful stay."
