"This property is not really centrally located. We need to walk about 15 minutes 20 minutes to a market. Luckily, the streets, although very dark but safe in Shanghai. Taxi is cheap in Shanghai. "

"The staff were kind and allowed us to check in early and upgraded our room for free. The bathroom had an odor but when we contacted the host, they immediately fixed it within the day as we were out. The host was incredibly responsive and welcoming and made our stay incredibly easy. Overall, the experience was 10/10 with good prices and we would definitely stay again."

"The staff (from front desk to cleaners) at Conrad was exceptional. The room looked a bit dated and the shower room could use some maintenance (ie replacing the silicone molding around the shower edges as it was starting to show mould stains) and the black out curtains needed to be replaced as it didn't black out the room. Other than those little issues, the room was big and clean. The cleaning staff were attentive and courteous whenever we saw them in the hallway. The location of the hotel was just off of Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street (20-50m) so very convenient. The metro station was also right around the corner so not far if you prefer to travel via the metro lines. No laundry facility at this location other than the usual drycleaning services offered as most hotels but this is very expensive. We ended up using Easy Life Laundry services as it was cheaper and quicker (usually a 24 hour turnover) to do our laundry and they provided picked up and delivery service from the hotel. The pool and gym facility was modern and big but one feedback is to provide a family room for families so that parents are not separated from young children. I was told my 5 year old son could not come with me to the female change room and that he would have to go through the male change room himself to get change and store his clothes, which was a no go for me. Luckily we already had our swim gear underneath our clothes so we were able to go straight to the pool and change there. "

"We were a little disappointed with the hotel. We booked an executive suite but it looked quite different to the photos (not as nice). Breakfast was not great - hot food was either luke warm, or cold, and none of the coffee machines were working properly and none of the staff rectified the issue. The positive’s was that the bed was comfortable, the room was quiet, and the location of the hotel is very good. If we return to Shanghai we wouldn’t stay here again."
