The location is perfect, right in front of the band. Even though it's right on a very busy street, once you step inside it's extremely quiet. The hospitality of the staff is truly outstanding, with a very sophisticated and comfortable atmosphere. The building and the interior have a historic feel, but are also very clean, making for a wonderful stay.

The hotel is at the prime location, next to the bund and Nanjing road. The room is huge, with the state of the art facility. Its staff were very friendly, helpful and always available. We enjoyed staying there.

Best luxury hotel overall in Shanghai! Great location, next to Nanjing pedestrian street and the bund. Excellent restaurant; surprised it’s not a Michelin star restaurant. Lots of nostalgic themes but not a run down place. Very well decorated and clean room. Love to come back!

Breakfast staff need more training on providing coffee to the table. When I asked for coffee, they just brought me a cup of black coffee, no cream and no mixer. Maybe nowadays people only drink black coffee?

上海ですごく歴史的な、有名なホテルと聞きましたが5日を泊まることにしました。チェックイン時の朝食時間、場所の説明がなっかた、部屋に着いてから30分経ってもう荷物を持ってこなかったので、電話してから送ってきました。朝食も普通ですが、通路の案内もわかりにくかったです。ただし、建物と周囲の景色、特に夜景は素晴らしい最高でした。
