"We had room 17- a review of this room last September was awful. If accurate it has now been improved as it was comfortable and we had no issues with it. All staff were very good - friendly and efficient.Breakfast was excellent. Ample parking at front of property . Grassy area at back alongside the river with sitting area was very nice. Position of hotel is great with a short walk straight into Rye which is a lovely town with many places to eat - lovely old pubs and interesting buildings. Lamb...

Could have made an effort to be more accommodating- ie arrived just as dinner service ended. Could have offered snacks, nuts, something… Asked about GF breakfast options. Didn’t seem to know so I had to ask item by item… toast? Breakfast meats? Beans?"
