"Flawless. We loved our stay at The Ship Inn and I strongly recommend it for any stay in Rye. The location is fantastic, right in the heart of town. The pub is beautiful and historic and the room itself modern and faultlessly clean. Some little details I really appreciated: tea and coffee and kettle in the room (with oat milk sachets!), a deep bath, tv, desk fan and a very comfy, spacious bed. 10/10"

The host and hostess are lovely and their entire focus is on making their guests' stay comfortable and enjoyable. The breakfast was delicious and abundant. "After changing our room we had an excellent stay. Please note that if you book two single beds and a walk-in shower, you will not stay in the old part of the hotel. That part dates from 1600 and is really beautiful with its history. Very friendly staff and an excellent breakfast. Highly recommended."
