The included breakfast was wonderful home cooking and the owners are incredible, being engaging and extremely considerate. "The hotel is centrally situated, close to the train station and at the center of Rye, a most charming historically preserved town with houses reflecting six centuries of life in Sussex. Despite the history of The George Hotel, it has all the amenities, a wonderful restaurant and patio, a made to order breakfast, nice rooms with a tv with cable and radio which plays BBC, jazz and classical music, a shower with great water pressure, an Italian coffee press and fresh coffee and an assortment of high quality teas. The staff is helpful, friendly and gracious. It was quite perfect."
