We had a small problem and the duty manager Sanya went above and beyond to fix it. There can always be issues but it's how the hotel deals with it that makes a difference. The Standard is a very cool, very clean and wonderfully located hotel. There are hundreds of things to do on your doorstep. Will definitely return"

"Ideal location, staff are very helpful and friendly. I was on a business trip so the proximity to London Kings Cross/St Pancras was a priority for me. The room was compact but it served its purpose, the only slight disadvantage was being on 2nd floor with no lift. Fine if you are not carrying much luggage but carrying my case up 2 flights of very narrow, quite steep stairs was my only negative"
