"The Torfin was clean and in a great area. It was very convenient to the airport and a short bus ride away from the city. There are great dining options near and a restaurant attached. The staff was so friendly and allowed us to store our bags in the morning because we arrived into the city early as well as helped us navigate public transportation! "

"Likes - checking-in was easy and check-in staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and spacious enough. Breakfast was buffet-style and had adequate choices for my needs. "Walkable to the airport, but it’s not covered, so have an umbrella! The hotel is newer and they had a full breakfast included. The room was clean and a nice size for Europe. Beds were comfy and the bathroom was a good size. The elevators are at one end of the long hotel, so you may have a long walk to get to your room. I did, although it’s quieter that way. "

The staff is very accommodating - we arrived early and though we could not check in yet, they stored our bags so we can enjoy our time in Edinburgh."
