"The place was really nice in every way — relaxed and friendly staff, clean property, and reasonable prices. My only comment is that it wasn’t easy to find the location or the reception. We had to call for directions, as the postcode alone wasn’t sufficient. Once we parked the car, we had to phone again to locate the reception, but a friendly staff member came to our rescue. Now that we know where it is, we wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again."

"This characterful and unique property was just as pictured in an ideal setting and very convenient for St Andrews which is approx 4 miles away. Each room is completely self contained - so no access to, or need for, communal rooms. Breakfast is provided in your own kitchen and contains a wide variety of options. "It was cute and the bathroom and sheets etc were clean. The rug was not clean (my shoes picked up several hairballs.). Great location with easy access to everything. Amenities in the room were limited without hairdryer or mini fridge or hooks to hang wet towels. But there were a coffee set up and water for two people (on check in only.)"

"A beautifully maintained boutique hotel. Spotlessly clean, with friendly staff and a virtual concierge in the room. Check in and out was easy. An app explains local amenities. Public transport is outside. There are several good quality local cafes and shops nearby. Room is fresh, with a fridge and shower that work perfectly. Bed is warm and comfortable Really happy to recommend this hotel and look forward to staying again."

Went directly to front desk to fix as soon as got to the room. Took a while to fix that with no apology. Got a new room. Some staff friendly and some not. First thing that strikes you is the stains on the carpet and dirty hallways that need cleaning. Room didn't have enough towels for 2 people. They did give us one extra...
