"Check-in was fine. There was a wedding on (on a Monday) and was left with a feeling you’d crashed someone’s party. Staff were obviously busy with this wedding so not so attentive to other guests. Main gripe was the additional £25 charge on the room for having our dog with us which wasn’t mentioned in any of the booking material. It’s good to be ‘pet friendly’ but also please be transparent about the charges."

"The room was tiny. The bathroom was so tiny the door closed on the toilet as well as the shower room door. The beds were like water beds no support at all. I asked for a fan for the room and was no we don’t have any. When i asked for extra pillows i met with a sigh and told if i can find some i will get you some. The breakfast was all overcooked. I did ask if they had a room with different beds and was told all the beds are the same. On day 3 we had had no sleep and made the decision to go...

"Nice clean rooms. Breakfast was great. Nice grounds. Staff were lovely. Didn’t get a chance to use the pool. Not many negatives, but our room kept stopped working 3 times, in a 1 night stay. I had to nip out to the car, and ended up not being able to get back in to the building. Also, when others are entering the building (was a separate building with just bedrooms) the doors rattle really badly. My daughter kept thinking someone was trying to get in the room. "

"The bed had passed it's life expectancy and was not very comfortable. I couldn't get any hot water from the shower. I didn't get any breakfast as I had to leave the guest house by 07:30am to go to work. Otherwise fine."

"Staff were so helpful and friendly from the get go . Hotel was immaculately clean! Although a small room, they do it very well indeed! We would return as location is 3 mins away from the old course and under 10 mins from the shops. The staff work hard and nothing is too much trouble. Thank you for a great stay!"

"Reception staff very friendly and helpful. Facilities at Leisure centre were great my grand daughter really enjoyed the swimming pool and putting. Beautiful surroundings which the were fantastic for walking the dog. Trim track could do with bit of maintenance for safety reasons. Our villa was in a good spot and had all we needed apart from Hairdryer which seemed to have disappeared as the box was there empty. Some paintwork needed refreshed but this did in no way spoil our enjoyment of the...

"For St Andrews this is a clean, modern and convenient space with an excellent amount of space. Highly recommend. Nice walk into town and quiet during my stay but there is a younger student crowd there which is refreshing but might be challenging based on location. It does seem they try to keep the younger and older visitors spaced apart."
