I’ve been staying at this hotel since 2021, back when it operated under Wyndham, and unfortunately, the change to Holiday Inn has come with a noticeable decline in quality while prices have increased.
Right after checking in, I was approached by a staff member attempting to sell me a vacation plan. I repeatedly explained that I wasn’t interested and that I was tired, but he continued to push the sale even after I said I was already feeling overwhelmed. That interaction set a frustrating tone for the stay.
The room itself was also lacking basic amenities. There were no soap bars or the usual vanity kits with essentials like a toothbrush and toothpaste. The body wash provided is labeled as Dove, but it clearly does not match the quality or authenticity of that brand.
Later that night, I needed ice, but the ice machine on my floor was missing entirely. I checked other floors, and none of the machines were working. This made a simple necessity unnecessarily inconvenient.
Overall, this stay was very disappointing compared to my past experiences here. The increase in price does not reflect the current level of service or quality.
