"Rating: 5/5 Stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ ​I recently stayed at the Sonesta Miami Lakes, and while the property itself is lovely, it was the leadership and the staff that truly made my experience phenomenal. ​Specifically, I want to highlight Sergio, the Manager. In the hospitality industry, things don't always go perfectly, but you can tell the quality of a hotel by how they handle "mishaps." When a few unexpected issues arose during my stay, Sergio didn't hide in a back office—he was right there on the frontline. ​Why this stay was a 10/10: ​Hands-on Leadership: Sergio personally ensured that every detail was taken care of. He listens, he cares, and he takes immediate action. ​Outstanding Support: It’s clear that Sergio leads by example because the entire team follows suit. The staff is attentive, professional, and genuinely welcoming. ​Problem-Solving: Even when things hit a snag, Sergio’s "outstanding support" turned a potential frustration into a seamless recovery. He makes you feel like the most important guest in the building. ​If you’re looking for a place in Miami Lakes where you know you’ll be in good hands, this is it. A huge thank you to Sergio and his great team for going above and beyond!"

"The rooms were spacious and clean. The staff is incredibly friendly and very helpful. They responded to our requests right away and made sure to greet us every time we entered the property. The pool is small, but there are nice tables outside on a patio for breakfast and working. The breakfast was typical for a hotel breakfast- adequate variety and decent quality."

"Hyatt accommodated us as early arrivers with a sick family member and immediately put us in a room, for which we were thankful. However, although the room was sufficient for a short time, it did smell heavily of marijuana and upon reporting this to the front desk we were immediately moved to a lovely room on the 6th floor. Staff was pleasant, professional and understanding. Pool area was clean, but many chairs were in need of replacement. Restaurant was commendable for cleanliness and light fair, but there are limited beverages offered and no alcohol served. Overall, our travel party was very pleased with this particular Hyatt and would stay there again."

"Beware. Inside and outside of the home is very dirty. We even found bugs in our bed. The neighborhood is dangerous. And the host was very rude. Check in was confusing. There’s only a mini fridge provided and he’s renting 5 rooms separately to other individuals. Theres only one bathroom for 5 different guests.There’s not enough parking. It was a horrible experience overall."
