Hotels in Oceanfront, Jacksonville

"I wrote a review previously and I now received another review request I presume hoping I would change my review. I had an awful time at this hotel. The staff was terrible. The room was ok but the garbage pails were never emptied during our entire 2 day stay. We waited more than an hour & a half for an additional blanket after calling the front desk 3 times & only to find after not deciding to call a fourth time they the blanket was left at the door without the person even knocking to let us know it was there. So we were cold for almost 2 hours. The parking fee is excessive. Overall it was one of the worst experiences u have ever had at a hotel. We would NEVER stay at this Hotel again. I guess that after Jimmy Buffet died the hotels went downhill. I stayed at the resort in Hollywood Fl several years ago & it was great. This hotel not so much. Don’t waste your time & money to get aggravated!"

"Very dated room with gross shag carpet…and to top it off my husband had a huge roach in the shower the morning we left…we understand critters are somewhat uncontrollable things but just topped off our feeling of how old and dirty the room was….especially for the price. Only upside was hotel amenities. Checkin/out and everything on property besides the room was satisfactory."
