"Staff seem to be still learning the majority of there roles with alot of renovations going on. Good comfy beds well situated on many acres of ground and soundings."

"The room was very nice, clean and had very comfortable beds. Our 3 yr old simply loved the bunkbed. The breakfast was delicious. They were also very nice to offer to make special pancakes for son. Its location was great too. It was a very nice stay for us."

"Lovely place"

"Was disappointed to find that there was no available gym in the hotel, even though it is advertised as such. The sofa bed in the room was broken, as was the air-conditioning. Staff attempted to fix it but didn’t make a difference. When we visited, there was a pile of mattresses sitting in the lobby. Surely there’s a better way to manage this. We shared our complaints with staff at the hotel but they showed little interest so I hope management will take note "

"Mattresses are worn out, need immediate change. We had booked rooms with AC, none were available. They arranged one with a portable unit."

"Excellent stay at this hotel (2 nights in July). We were especially grateful for the aircon which is far from standard in UK hotels. Everything was of standard you would expect from a property like this. Staff were impressive and the room spacious, tasteful and clean. Will be back on our next visit to the city."

"Goldborough Hall is excedllent in all respects. Breakfast very good. Standards of the hall were supreme. Lovely grounds. A real pleasure to stay at this wonderful hotel. Thankyou."

"Breakfast was lovely, but they kept running out of cups, spoons and food, then coming back with 3 cups etc a bit sluggish. Room was very clean. Went for a meal at night, several dishes on the menu were not available, not good enough."

"We have stayed there three times now. The location is ideal. Parking is awful but it is what it is. Food I. The restaurant was excellent and the food great."
