"This place has a distinct "hostel" vibe, and a primarily 20-something clientele. As a middle-aged person I felt a bit out of place. However, it's clean, the staff are professional and friendly, and the facilities are cute. Great breakfast and bar, too! Be aware that some of the pods (odd numbers) are accessed via a small ladder, like a bunk bed. I am a spry 50-year-old, but I have to admit it was a bit tricky to get in and out. "Nice hotel with a great view of the canals and very close to many of the interesting things to do and see in Amsterdam. The staff were not great, grade of a B, but the hotel was busy and the staff were busy. The hotel was clean and comfortable, but is in need of a "face lift". My wife and I have stayed here twice and would again."
