On arrival staff lovely as always. Room was very spacious & modern since the refurb. Super comfy bed. Unfortunately the hotel would benefit on further checks including house keeping & maintenance. "Very friendly and helpful reception. Spacious and comfortable overall. The washer in our suite was an older model with unclear instructions so we spent more time than we would have liked on laundry. Limited parking on site for £12 per night, tight spaces."

"The hotel is conveniently located near many restaurants and is within walking distance of Newcastle University. The city centre is also easily accessible by bus. The staff were exceptional: warm, welcoming, and genuinely hospitable. The room was clean and comfortable, and the bathroom was spotless. Free coffee was also available throughout the day, which was a nice extra."

"There wasn't a kitchen as advertised, but rather a microwave. There were pans but no stove to cook on. I bought the ingredients to make a stir fry thinking there were cooking facilities but I had to microwave them instead. The actual apartment was nice, to give it credit, but this is about the only positive experience. The host gave check in instructions but then communication was non-existent. I tried phoning the number given and no answer, I tried messaging to ask about parking and no...

"Welcoming staff and parking is a positive. The toilets and showers are very poor. Doors on toilets don't lock properly, showers are very poor, no cleaning soap in shower or toilet or they were broken. This was on the 3rd floor. Don't know why I was on the third floor s there weren't many guests. Some guests I noticed leave a lot to be desired. I suppose you get what you pay for. This place is in need of a complete overhaul especially the toilet and shower facilities."
