"An older hotel currently undergoing renovation, but clean and comfortable. There were only 3 minor drawbacks: the mattress was soft and saggy, but still comfortable, the shhets were pilled and rough, and the fridge didn't keep things very cold. But I'm sure this will all be addressed with the renovations. We would stay there again."

" Came to stay here due to location near Shadyside hopsital, where I had surgery the next day. What a beautiful property. Friendly staff, especially our bartender. She was young, but easy to talk to and had knowledge beyond her years. We didnt eat here, so can not attest to that. Beds were confortable. Rooms very large and the interior was like a european hotel. Dark woods with Great history. "
