The room itself was large. Beds were not well made. The furniture looked dated and tired. One lampshade had a strange brown stain on the side that looked like it might have been coffee. The windows were absolutely filthy so you couldn't really see anything clearly. The view from our room was of... you guessed it! A very bright, well lit and noisy parking lot. There's no way to describe the parking situation around this hotel. It's like Thunderdome. You end up having to park in one of many private lots, which I thought was odd since our room faced out over the... Parking Lot!! No signage, no customer service agents, nothing. You're basically left to your own devices in a sketchy part of town. The elevators are outdated, small, and seem like a security hazard. On returning to our room on night two, we were disappointed to see that the room had not been made up at all and it was approaching 6PM. Housekeeping did knock and ask if we wanted the room flipped, but I passed as it was late and it seemed pointless.The amenities in the room were, again, tired and seemed not to make any sense at all. Bigelow (kind of high end) luxury shampoo, lotion and wash in the BR, but then a shower head that barely works and you give the guests a total of 3 towels each (2 r hand towels) for two days? The biggest thing for me, though, when staying at hotels anywhere, is safety. I literally was able to enter and leave the hotel through a door that was propped open and led directly outside! Stay AWAY!
