"We were very impressed with the whole experience. We were warmly welcomed, shown to a lovely room which had everything we needed with complimentary sloe gin and whisky which was lovely. We booked an evening meal, the food and setting were perfect with a beautiful garden to sit in. Breakfast was really good with a lot of choice. Freshly cooked with a selection of cereals, croissants, juices, tea and coffee. Everything you needed The service was excellent along with the staff who were more than hospitable, looked like a great team. Lovely walks along the river. We would definitely recommend a stay here."

A truly warm welcome and great chat with the staff; all keen to learn and do things the right way. They really are a credit to the management. Rooms still need a little work, mattress on the bed was not great at all, but everywhere clean and tidy. Would happily stay again when in the area for work."
