Top National Centre for Early Music Hotel Reviews
The Grand, York
10/10 Excellent
"Jake was great on the valet parking side and Amelia was lovely who checked us in…
We was also able to check in very early which was appreciated.."
"Friendliest front desk and wait staff.
Nice breakfast. Full breakfast with menu options plus buffet. Buffet only was a bit limited, but had good fruit.
Room cleaning staff did fantastic job, just a bit over eager in the mornings, knocking on your door every 5-10 minutes!"
"Absolutely could not fault the staff. The room was clean and we enjoyed being close to York St John University and the shopping hub of the city centre. The food was okay although at breakfast there was sometimes bits missing or run out- no hot water for tea, run out of sausages, etc…. The staff were very attentive and the little texts to check in on us during our stay were lovely. "
"Really nice stylish hotel with lovely staff and facilities. Because of a delay we arrived at the hotel after the cut off for breakfast but they went out of their way to get us a bite to eat, only a bacon bun but much appreciated. "
"Would highly recommend this hotel. Very close to old town and right across from the Minster. The room we had was very spacious (an upgrade). Very good value."
