"This is my second Hotel Indigo stay, the last was in Edinburgh for 7 days as well. As a tourist who likes to walk and take in every possible sight, the location in the city center , could not have been better. "This is a very old building and it has been lovingly and beautifully restored. Perfect location in York to stay. Easy walk from the train station and close to the York Minster and the Shambles market. Dozens of restaurants, pubs and shops around the hotel. Cannot wait to go back!"

"Was disappointed to find that there was no available gym in the hotel, even though it is advertised as such. The sofa bed in the room was broken, as was the air-conditioning. Staff attempted to fix it but didn’t make a difference. When we visited, there was a pile of mattresses sitting in the lobby. Surely there’s a better way to manage this. We shared our complaints with staff at the hotel but they showed little interest so I hope management will take note "

"Fabulous room in central York. Very spacious and comfortable with ample parking. River walk is very close, as is the Shambles. Hotel let us stay in the parking lot even after we had checked out, allowing us to get in shopping and lunch. Great place to stay!"

"Struttura moderna, camera spaziosa e molto pulita, personale cortese e disponibile, prezzo ottimo e soprattutto posizionato a due passi dal centro di York. Se il parcheggio interno è al completo, la struttura offre la possibilità di posteggiare nel centro commerciale adiacente ad un prezzo di circa 8 euro per 24H. Consigliatissimo"
