"โญโญโญโญโญ Absolutely Outstanding โ One of the Best Hotels Weโve Ever Stayed At! The Mercure Nagano Resort exceeded every expectation and was easily one of the highlights of our trip to Japan. The hotel is perfectly situated on the outskirts of the city, making it incredibly easy to access, with plenty of free parking and the convenience of being able to come and go at any time of the day or night. Itโs the perfect base for exploring the region while enjoying a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The breakfast deserves a special mentionโit was, without question, the best hotel breakfast weโve ever had anywhere in the world. The selection was simply incredible, with an enormous variety of Western favourites alongside authentic Japanese, Chinese, and other Asian dishes. Every morning felt like dining at a premium restaurant, and there was something new to try each day. For anyone visiting during ski season, the facilities are outstanding. The hotel has dedicated ski and snowboard drying rooms, secure lockers, modern self-service laundry facilities with new washers and dryers, and excellent male and female onsens that were the perfect way to relax after a day on the slopes. The rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable, and the staff were warm, welcoming, and always happy to help. We travel frequently and stay in hotels all over the world, and Mercure Nagano Resort has set a new benchmark. If we could give it more than five stars"

I wished they had a mini mart or something on site tho. Also having a few more restaurants on site would be nice since itโs a very remote location. Iโd go back again."

"We enjoyed this hotel during a brief getaway during the summer to escape the Tokyo heat. The hotel is located in a very nice location in old Karuizawa (Kyo-Karuizawa), close to many nice restaurants and little shops, while also being very quite. Rooms are very large and modern, the hotel has its own hot spring (onsen), and high speed internet is free. Very friendly staff and a large and tasty breakfast buffer. We definitely plan to visit again."
