"I recently stayed for one night, the stay was booked last minute due to the brush fire in Maui on Sept 26, 2026. The check-in process was quick and smooth, we were able to find our room easily with the map they provided. The room was clean and was sufficient for a nightโ€™s stay. The pillows were comfortable but the bed was the softest/most sunken that Iโ€™ve experienced at a hotel as an avid traveller. I felt the breakfast was very disappointing, everything was cold and there was no staff in the building. I dropped by and there was no cutlery but also no one in the kitchen to assist. I went back to my room and returned half an hour later with my spouse and there was still no staff around. Some other guests looked around the kitchen and were able to locate some utensils to share. The property is lovely but also feels abandoned or vacant in some ways. There was no one around, the lobby was silent, no people, no music."

"Pros: - Friendly staff. - Great Location is you want to visit Hana/Mama's fish house. This location is not too far from the closest gas station (hana may not have gas) Cons: - This place is in the jungle, encountering bugs inside the room or bathroom is almost unavoidable. It is manageable but be prepared. - There is no daily housekeeping, and guests are required to complete several tasks before checking out (e.g., adhering to strict low speed limits on the driveway, stripping towels into the bathroom, and taking out all room trash)."

"The resort facilities were excellent. The pool, spa, recreational areas, and other amenities were all great, and the views were beautiful. The breakfast was also excellent. The only area that could use improvement is the accommodation itself. The bungalow we stayed in needs more maintenance and some additional repairs and updating. Overall, though, we had a very good experience and enjoyed our stay. With some improvements to the individual units, this could be an even better resort"
