"Okay walking distance from the train station, but check-in was terrible. I didn’t receive any details until standing outside on a rainy day trying to figure out how to call a local phone number, which was eventually answered by someone who only speaks Chinese. After an awkward minute on the phone they hung up, but a few minutes later I finally got instructions on how to get inside. The staircase inside is very tight and carrying suitcases up is quite difficult. Once inside, the room is clean...

"Great property, was a good experience being able to stay in a more traditional home away from big hotels and further from the tourist areas of Jiufen. The home was fully stocked with everything we needed and the extra food and drinks were appreciated. The only issue we had was that the location on Google Maps was not accurate and we got lost trying to find it the first time; however afterwards we realized it was actually in a great spot not too far from the Old Street.
